Higher Education Secretary-General receives Israeli ambassador

Manama, Dec. 9 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Higher Education Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa received Israeli Ambassador-Designate to Bahrain Eitan Na'eh. The secretary-general expressed her appreciation for the developing relations between Bahrain and Israel, noting the signing of the memoranda of understanding in various aspects of cooperation. She reviewed areas of common interest between the countries in the field of higher education and scientific research sector, exchanging expertise and strengthening cooperation for the benefit of the countries and their peoples. The ambassador affirmed Israel’s keenness to enhance relations between the countries.
