HM the King’s support to sports praised

Manama, Nov.2 (BNA): His Majesty the King’s Personal Representative, Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) President His Highness Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al-Khalifa congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa on success of the “Bahrain 1” team in clinching the first place and winning the NHRA Pro Mod world championship in Las Vegas, USA. He also extended congratulations to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. He paid tribute to HM the King, hailing royal support to sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain, particularly motorsports which shine in regional, continental and international arenas and championships. The Personal Representative said that the royal support was a catalyst which boosted “Bahrain 1” team to clinch the NHRA Pro Mod world championship for the second time in the history of its participations and for the second time in a row, He praised the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister to motorsports in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He also praised “Bahrain 1” team which succeeded in retaining its title despite the current circumstances resulting from the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
