HM King arrives in Egypt

Cairo, Mar. 27 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa arrived in Egypt today on a visit during which he will hold talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on historic fraternal relations and cooperation between both countries and peoples as well as the latest Arab, regional and international developments.
HM the King was welcomed on arrival at Cairo International Airport by the Egyptian President. Both leaders exchanged at the VIP Lounge talks on strong bilateral relations. Then, they headed in an official convoy to Al-Ittihadiya Palace.
HM the King expressed happiness about visiting Egypt, stressing deep-rooted fraternal ties binding both countries. He lauded Egypt's role in serving the Arab interests in regional and international fora, pointing out that his visit to Egypt aims to meet anew the Egyptian President within the framework of continuous coordination between both countries regarding issues of common interest.
HM the King said the visit also aims to further bolster bilateral relations and cooperation and discuss ways of handling the requirements of the current phase in order to shape the aspired future.
"Ambient risks and challenges facing the Arab nation require utmost efforts to rally ranks," HM the King asserted, pointing out the importance of unity in promoting interests, preventing foreign interference, achieving people's aspirations and contributing actively to fostering regional security and peace.
HM the King commended Egypt's unwavering stances in supporting Bahrain's security and stability as well as its long-standing contribution to the kingdom's growth and development. He also underlined Bahrain's unflinching keenness on Egypt's security, progress and prosperity, reiterating constant resolve to further solidify historic brotherly relations between both countries and peoples.
Official welcome protocols were held at Al-Ittihadiya Palace for HM the King.
