HM King of Bahrain attend Al Tareef District inauguration ceremony

Riyadh, Dec. 9 (BNA): HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, alongside the Gulf leaders participating in the GCC Summit, today attended the opening ceremony of the Al Tareef Cultural District in Al-Diriyah, which was patronized and attended by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Upon his arrival at the celebration site of Al Tareef District, HM the King was received by the Saudi monarch and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence. HM the King, following the opening celebration, praised Al Tareef cultural and civilizational project that reflects the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in preserving the heritage and historical monuments, as well as his interest in conservation of the Saudi history. HM the King noted the historical value of the Al Tareef District, which seized the attention of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to turn it into a cultural and touristic center for its heritage value culminated in listing it on the World Heritage List. HM the King paid tribute to the Saudi comprehensive development seen during the prosperous era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, wishing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia further successes to come. HM the King joined the Gulf leaders for a dinner banquet hosted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in honour of the Gulf leaders attended the Gulf Summit. Shortly before his departure, HM the King expressed appreciation of the royal Saudi hospitality and reception. He praised the acute vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of running the Summit sessions and his leading role in consolidating the GCC action march. HM the King bid warm farewell to the Gulf leaders, commending their cooperation that contributed to the success of the Gulf Summit and promoting the GCC march to bring more achievements to meet their people’s aspirations
