HM King of Bahrain meets HRH Premier; HRH Crown Prince

Manama, (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has received, at Al-Safriya Palace, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
HM the King reviewed with HRH the Premier and HRH the Crown Prince the executive, legislative and organization needs for the coming phase in the march of national work. "The Kingdom of Bahrain is going though prosperous and bright phases in its national march", said HM the King, hailing citizens’ active participation in the national momentum.
He expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier and HRH the Crown Prince, hailing their strenuous efforts to develop the governmental work and support strategies and visions aimed at boosting comprehensive development and spurring the growth of all vital sectors.
He paid tribute to conscious-minded citizens, who answered the call of duty and took part massively in the elections, whether by running or casting ballots, setting an unprecedented voter turnout.He saluted the massive participation of citizens who rallied to elect their parliamentary and municipal representatives, freely and responsibly, for the sake of their nation above all other consideration.
"The unprecedented voter turnout in our national history portrays an honourable and civilized image of our people", he said, hailing Bahrainis’ keenness on conserving national democratic gains and building the success of the constitutionally-vested institutions.
He extended thanks to all those who contributed to the success of the elections and congratulated the elected Mps and municipal councilors, wishing them success in assuming their national responsibility. HRH the Premier stressed the Government’s resolve to achieve HM the King’s aspirations to fast-track the pace of growth and enhance the standard of services for citizens. "The Government places citizens at the centre of the development efforts", said HRH the Premier, stressing the Government’s drive to achieve citizen’s aspirations and meet their needs.
