HM King of Bahrain receives family of late US commander

Manama, Dec.5 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, has today received, at Al-Sakhir Palace, the family of Vice Admiral Scott Stearney, Commander of the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command and Commander of U.S. Fifth Fleet , who died recently in the Kingdom of Bahrain. HM the King offered condolences to the mother, wife, brother, two sons and daughter of Vice Admiral Scott Stearney, hailing his dedicated efforts and contribution to strengthening solid relations binding Bahrain and the USA, as well as their friendly peoples. HM the King welcomed them in Bahrain, extending condolences to all the family and friends of late Vice Admiral Scott Stearney. The family of Vice Admiral Scott Stearney expressed deepest thanks to HM the King for his condolences and sympathy, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
