HM King of Bahrain receives Russian Presidential Envoy

Manama, (BNA): HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the Sakhir Airbase met Russian Presidential Special Envoy, Gazprom Chairman, Viktor Zubkov, on the sidelines of the Russian participation in the Bahrain International Air Show 2018. The Russian Envoy conveyed greeting of President Vladimir Putin to HM the King and to the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. HM the King reviewed the solid friendship relations and cooperation at various levels, chiefly economic, trade, investment and tourism. He highlighted Bahrain’s keenness to broaden cooperation in various fields to meet the aspirations of the two countries and their people. HM the king welcomed Russia’s active participation in the BIAS 2018, which reflects the distinguished bilateral relations. He pointed out significance of the BIAS in the exchange of aviation expertise, knowledge and latest technologies. HM the King praised Russia’s role, led by President Putin, in maintaining the international peace and security. The Russian Envoy expressed appreciation of the royal interest in further boosting the relations between the two friendly nations. He commended the huge international participation of leading aviation companies and the organizational efforts that contributed to the success of the 2018 BIAS.
