HM King bids farewell to HH Pope of Vatican and Grand Imam Shaikh of Al Azhar

Manama, Nov. 6 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa bid farewell to His Holiness Pope Francis and the accompanying delegation upon his departure from Bahrain today, concluding a historic four-day official visit to the Kingdom at the invitation of HM the King. The Pope has participated in the Bahrain Dialogue Forum: "East and West for Human Coexistence" in its first session held under the patronage of HM King Hamad. HM the King also bid farewell to His Eminence Sheikh of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders Dr. Ahmed Al Tayeb upon his departure today, concluding a visit to the Kingdom at the invitation of HM the King. The Grand Imam has participated in the Bahrain Dialogue Forum: "East and West for Human Coexistence." They were also bidden farewell by their highnesses, dignitaries and senior officers from Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), Interior Ministry and National Guard.
