HM King commends people's cohesion, unity

Manama, Apr. 23 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has emphasized that the Kingdom of Bahrain's progressive march has always been, and will remain forever, inscribed in golden register based on justice and derived from the forthright Islamic religion's teachings. HM the King cited His Majesty's issuance of the royal order forming a Sharia panel to revise the proposed draft family law as the basic step to ensure its compliance with the provisions of Sharia based on the Holy Quran and the Sunna of the Prophet (PBUH) and to consolidate the positive values and principles national unity without bias due to any external affiliations or exclusion of our inherent principles, customs and traditions. The royal order was issued on the basis of these values that bind all citizens together without any discrimination between the sons of our united nation. All the external forces plots aimed to divide the nation were challenged by the patriotic Bahraini people through national unity who shunned all factors of dissent or sectarian divisionism, as we have seen that the patriotic morale spirit and the uniqueness of the Bahraini people throughout the country's longstanding history, affirmed HM the King. HM the King pointed out that the Kingdom's leadership has always been keen to protect its dignified citizens against harm, mischief or evils in these difficult days experienced by the nation reiterating cohesion of the country's domestic front and national unity to serve the interest of all the people without any discrimination or exclusion.
