HM the King condoles with Egyptian president

Manama, Apr. 9 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today sent a cable of condolences to the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, following the two terrorist attacks that targeted the Mar Girgis Coptic Church in Tanta, and the Coptic Christian Cathedral in Alexandria, leaving dozens of people killed or wounded.
HM the King offered deepest condolences and sympathy to the Egyptian president, and to families of the victims.
HM King Hamad condemned and denounced in the strongest terms the two heinous criminal attacks which targeted the lives of secure innocent people, as well as the unity of the brotherly Egyptian people.
HM the King stressed that such criminal acts contravene the teachings of all divine religions and human values, affirming that Bahrain stands with brotherly Egypt and backs all measures it takes to confront such terrorist acts aimed at subverting its security and stability.
HM King Hamad reiterated the kingdom's firm stance in rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and support to all international efforts aimed at combating it and stamping out its funding sources.
HM the King wished mercy to the victims, patience to their relatives and speedy recovery to the wounded.
