HM King congratulated by Defence Minister

Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a cable of congratulations from the Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, on the kingdom’s success in hosting and organising the Formula 1 Rolex Sakhir Grand Prix 2020. The minister extended sincere congratulations to HM the King, noting that the success of the international sporting event reflected Bahrainis’ concerted efforts, and the kingdom’s advanced standing on the world sports map. The minister asserted that the kingdom’s success in hosting and organising such a mega international event amid the current circumstances was achieved thanks to HM the King’s constant care. This success also reflects the kingdom’s distinguished status and role in developing the motorsport in the Middle East region, he added.
