HM the King congratulated by Information Minister

Manama, Nov. 22 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today was congratulated by Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi on winning the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO)'s award in recognition of the unmissable development achievements witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain thanks to HM the King's wise leadership in the fields of sustainable economic development and empowerment of Bahraini youth and women. The minister said that the award reflects HM the King's acute vision and wise approach that have turned Bahrain into a model constitutional kingdom and an example of the empowerment of the youth and women, as they are a national asset and foundation of the comprehensive development and construction march. He added the award is a culmination of the achievements of HM the King and his government led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the support of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, that have uplifted the living standards of citizens and improved competence and productivity in conformity with the Government Action Programme and Economic Visio 2030. He said the successful royal economic vision, launched in 2008, has contributed to achieving the sustainable economic development, promoting competitiveness and justice, development of human resources, education and training, as well as diversification of sources of income.
