HM King congratulated by Muharraq Club Chairman

Manama, Sep. 2 (BNA): Muharraq Club Chairman Shaikh Ahmed bin Ali bin Abdullah Al Khalifa today congratulated HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on Bahrain’s historic achievements in the 18th Asian Games recently concluded in Jakarta. The Muharraq Club Chairman congratulated the royal leadership on Bahrain’s remarkable success in winning a total of 26 gold, silver and bronze medals, which is the most significant achievement made by a Bahraini sport mission in the Asian games, which placed Bahrain eleventh at the Asian level and the first at the Arab level. He attributed the achievement to the royal support for sport and youth sector. The Muharraq Chairman also congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa on his strategic plans and initiative he has launched to upgrade the national teams, which have been translated in the Asian Games. He praised the key efforts of the Bahrain Athletics Association chaired by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa to accentuate Bahrain’s standing in the sport forums. He wished HM the King abundant good health and happiness and Bahrain many successes to come.
