HM King congratulated by SCYS Secretary-General

Manama, Feb. 16 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable of congratulations from the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on the 19th Anniversary of the National Action Charter. Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim extended deepest congratulations to HM the King on the national occasion. He stressed that the National Action Charter (NAC) was a royal promise on which the Bahraini citizens agreed, adding that the NAC paved the way for laying the foundations for a full democratic approach and promoted the values of right, freedom and fair governance. The SCYS’ secretary-general indicated that both the National Action Charter and the Constitution had emanated from an inspiring royal reform desire and free popular will. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to protect HM the King and to guide him on the right path of success.
