HM King congratulated by Shura Chairman on Asian sport achievement

Manama, Apr. 26 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh extended heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the kingdom’s historic achievement of clinching the first place in the 23rd Asian Athletics Championship. He stressed that the accomplishment is the dividend of the royal care and support to the sport movement in Bahrain. The Shura Council Chairman lauded the tireless efforts of Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in developing the sport movement in Bahrain. He also praised the efforts of SCYS First Deputy Chairman and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee and Bahrain Athletics Association in bringing about the historical achievement.
