HM King congratulated by Speaker

Manama, Sep. 28 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, has extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on being granted the "Lifetime Achievement" Award by US C3 Summit in recognition of his continued achievements and incessant efforts in all fields. The Speaker stressed that HM the King's landmark achievements and clear contributions to respecting the principles of peace and co-existence among religions and races, reinforcing security and stability, confronting terrorism and violence in the world, championing sustainable development issues, developing the kingdom's partnership and cooperation with various countries and boosting diplomatic and international relations have entitled him to well-deservedly win the top award. The prestigious award proves anew HM King Hamad's farsightedness and statesmanship, he added. Al-Mulla affirmed that the "Lifetime Achievement" Award is a global appreciation to the kingdom and its leader, and adds to Bahrain's rich record of milestone achievements and contributions to development, sustainability, giving and international diplomacy. It will also motivate the Bahraini people to continue their work and dedication at all levels, under the leadership of HM King Hamad, support of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and backing of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, the speaker also said.
