HM King congratulated by Speaker

Manama, Mar. 14(BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Fawziya bint Abdulla Zainal sent a cable of congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa on the kingdom’s winning the post of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA)’s Deputy Executive Director, Representative of the Asia-Pacific Group following the elections which were held in Nairobi, Kenya, for the 2019-2021 term. She commended the outstanding role played by HM the King’s Personal Representative and Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) His Highness Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al-Khalifa to promote Bahrain’s standing and ensure compliance with international conventions, protocols and agreements.
