HM King congratulated by Speaker on F1 success

Manama, Nov. 29 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received congratulations from Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal on the great success achieved by Bahrain in organizing and holding the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. The tremendous support and generous patronage of HM the King have highlighted Bahrain’s international success and achievements in various fields, she said. The Speaker praised the efforts of the government, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the great and distinguished success achieved that proved the Kingdom's competence and efficiency in organizing major international events. Holding this important sporting event during the exceptional coronavirus pandemic across the world demonstrates the great potential and vast capabilities that Bahrain possesses in converting challenges into opportunities for success and in providing the appropriate environment to host global events, she said. This feat is in line with the continuous achievements of Team Bahrain led by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in providing the best health and medical procedures, making the Kingdom worthy of the praise it has received from countries and international organizations, she added. The Speaker praised Bahrain's focus on highlighting the humanitarian dimensions in various activities and fields, praising the directives issued by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to allocate seats in the Bahrain International Circuit for the families of frontline health workers and first responders in Bahrain in recognition of their contributions and commitment within the national efforts to address the pandemic in the Kingdom.
