HM King congratulated on sport victory

Manama, Oct.14 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi on the landmark achievement of the Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council of Youth and Sports Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who won the IRONMAN World Championship which was held in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, USA, beating more than 3000 competitors. The minister hailed the historic achievement in the sport annals in Bahrain which, he said, represents a crucial incentive for strong-willed youth to exert all efforts and serve the homeland in all arenas. He lauded reflects royal support to develop sport and youth movements and bolster Bahrain’s standing in regional and international arenas, hailing the Kingdom’s landmark national strides.
