HM King congratulates Bahraini novelist

Manama, Sept. 27 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Dr. Aneesa Fakhro who was recently honoured by His Highness Dr. Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah Emirate on winning the Sharjah Award for Best Novel 2018, in recognition of her storytelling, documenting cultural heritage, and creative literary publications, wishing her more success. HM the King praised the role of Bahraini women in the Kingdom's renaissance and progress noting women's intellectual, academic and cultural capabilities as well as leading accomplishments at the various functions and seminars in boosting the Kingdom’s role and prestigious ranking among the advanced nations.
