HM King conveys condolences to Saudi monarch, crown prince

Manama, Dec. 23 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has assigned Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the vice president of the Royal Family Council, to convey his condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and to the Al Saud family on the death of HRH Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Shaikh Mohammed was accompanied by a delegation that comprised HH Shaikh Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Royal Court Affairs, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, Shaikh Humood bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa, the director general of the Royal Family Council, and Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s ambassador to the United Kingdom. The delegation also conveyed the condolences of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed, the family of the deceased and Al Saud family. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his appreciation and thanks to HM King Hamad for his fraternal and generous feelings that reflected the depth of the historic and distinguished relations between the Bahrain and Saudi kingdoms and people, praying to God to protect him and to bestow on him health and happiness.
