HM King expresses pride in solid Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations

Manama, Sept. 8 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received, at the Sakhir Palace today, Kuwait's Foreign Minister, Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Mohammed Al Sabah, and Finance Minister, State Minister for Economic Affairs and Investment, Abdulwahab Mohammed Al Rasheed. They conveyed to HM the King the greetings and appreciation of Kuwaiti Amir, His Highness Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Deputy Amir and Crown Prince, His Highness Shaikh Meshal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, as well as their wishes of more progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people. HM the King welcomed the ministers, and requested them to convey his best wishes for abundant health to Kuwait’s Amir, Deputy Amir and Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as for further progress and prosperity to the brotherly Kuwaiti people, under the wise leadership of HH the Amir. HM King Hamad expressed pride in the deep-rooted solid Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations, which have been growing steadily thanks to the two countries’ shared keenness to constantly bolster them to achieve the interests of their brotherly peoples. HM the King commended the leading role played by HH the Amir of Kuwait in strengthening his country’s relations with Bahrain, praising Kuwait’s honourable stances towards Bahrain, and endeavours to serve joint GCC, Arab and Islamic action. Kuwait’s Foreign Minister expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King, hailing the ongoing royal efforts and keenness to develop distinguished bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
