HM the King grants relief supplies to flood victims in Laos

BANGKOK, July 26 (TNA) – His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn granted relief supplies to flood victims in Laos. His majesty the King gave 10,000 bottles of drinking water, 2,000 towels, 49 water purifiers, food and medicines to help flood victims in Attapeu and Champasak provinces, affected by the dam collapse. The Royal Thai Airforce (RTAF) transported those necessities along with 5,000 sets of relief supplies from the Thai government and 1,000 personal tents to Laos, said Air force spokesman AVM Pongsak Semachai. RTAF’s four flights yesterday carried all relief supplies to the Pakse International Airport. Officials from Thai embassy in Vientiane received the relief items and have coordinated with Lao authorities to send donated items to flood victims. (TNA)
