HM King hailed Egypt’s ties

Manama, Nov.11(BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa hailed strong fraternal relations binding Bahrain and Egypt, lauding steadily-growing cooperation in all fields.
This came as he received, at Al-Safriya Palace, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, marking his visit to attend the 10th meeting of the Bahrain-Egypt Joint Commission.
The minister conveyed to HM the King greetings from President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, who wished the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
HM the King also extended greetings to President Al-Sisi, wishing the people of Egypt further and prosperity.
He hailed the results of the joint commission meeting, which witnessed the signing of agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation covering various vital fields to meet the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
HM the King described Bahrain-Egyptian relations as a model to emulate for political, economic and security cooperation in all arenas.
He hailed the stances and pivotal role of Egypt, led by President Al-Sisi, in support of the Arab national interests, hailing Egypt’s sacrifices to defend the pan-Arab security, combat the scourge of terror and reject foreign interference in Arab internal affairs.
HM the King hailed the leverage and pivotal role of Egypt, which he described as a pillar and cornerstone for regional security and stability.
HM the King and the Egyptian foreign minister exchanged views, regarding regional and international developments.
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry expressed deep thanks and appreciation to HM the King, hailing royal efforts to bolster bilateral relations binding Bahrain and Egypt and expand joint cooperation.
He reiterated his country’s appreciation for the Kingdom of Bahrain’s honourable role in supporting joint Arab work, led by HM the King.
