HM King hails Bahrain-Philippines ties

Manama, Dec.25 (BNA): His Majesty King Isa Al-Khalifa has today received a written message from Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte dealing with bilateral relations binding the two countries. HM the King received at Al-Safriya Palace, Special Envoy of the Philippines President Robert Eric, accompanied by Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Ministry Sarah Lou Arriola, who delivered the written message. The envoy conveyed to HM the King greetings from President Duterte, who wished the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity. HM the King extended greetings to the Philippines president, wishing his friendly people further progress and prosperity. HM the King welcomed the Philippines envoy and undersecretary, hailing bilateral relations and steadily-growing joint cooperation in all fields, in light of the mutual keenness on developing ties and achieving common aspiration. He lauded the Philippine expatriate community, for its fruitful efforts and contribution to Bahrain’s development and progress. He also commended the Philippines’ achievements in all fields. The envoy commended HM the King’s role and efforts to consolidate bilateral relations and bolster joint cooperation between the two friendly countries. He congratulated HM the King on the National Day and the achievements of the national football team, which won the 24th Gulf Cup. He expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King, hailing the warm welcome and hospitality enjoyed by the Philippine expatriate community in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
