HM the King hails Bahrainis’ sports achievements

Manama, Nov.10 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of thanks to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman, in reply to his cable of congratulations on the victory of Ali Munfaridi who won the gold medal in the World Jiu Jitsu championship, being held in Abu Dhabi, the UAE. HM the King hailed the honourable accomplishment, lauding the string of sports achievements, led by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, whose support helped tap into the youth's full potential in different games. He commended the pivotal role played by HH Shaikh Nasser in the sports and youth fields which helped win championshhips and trophies in different individual and collective games in Arab, regional, continental and international championships. HM the King had received a cable of congratulations on this occasion from HH Shaikh Nasser, who paid tribute to HM the King for his care, which consolidated Bahrain’s standing in sports championships and supported the march of Bahrainis’ successes.
