HM King, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed review issues of shared interest

Manama, Aug. 15 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reviewed on the phone bilateral relations and ways to bolster cooperation in all areas. The two leaders also exchanged views on several topics and the latest regional and international developments of shared interest. HM King Hamad congratulated HH Shaikh Mohammed on the historic peace step taken by the UAE towards Israel, stressing that it will contribute to strengthening peace and boosting stability in the Middle East in a way that serves that aspiration of its people for security, progress and prosperity. HM the King praised the agreement between the UAE, the U.S. and Israel that allowed the stopping of the Israeli decision to annex Palestinian territories, describing it as a historic diplomatic achievement that will preserve the two-state solution and maintains the opportunities for peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis. HM King Hamad commended the UAE’s honorable stances in defending the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations, principally the Palestinian cause. HH Shaikh Mohammed expressed his gratitude to HM King Hamad and his pride in the harmony between the two countries regarding the issues in the region. He also highlighted his appreciation of Bahrain’s positions and benevolent efforts in support of the endeavors to bring peace and security to the region for the benefit of its states and peoples.
