HM King, HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister congratulated by Speaker

Manama, Dec. 15 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister on Bahrain's National Days in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini state as an Arab and Muslim country founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, the anniversary of its full membership in the United Nations, and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne. The Speaker also expressed her congratulations to the people of Bahrain, on these national occasions, which occupy a special place in everyone's heart. She affirmed the Council of Representatives' keenness to consolidate cooperation between the legislative and executive branches, in line with the directives of HM King. She highlighted the Representatives Council’s continuous efforts to achieve prosperity for the country and for citizens. The speaker emphasised that the current circumstances resulting from the novel Coronavirus pandemic make the national occasions an opportunity to foster the spirit of citizenship, and promote determination to work, in order to overcome the current challenges.
