HM King, HRH Crown Prince condoled by HH Shaikh Khalid

Manama, Nov. 12 (BNA): First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has extended deepest condolences to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, following the passing of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. HH Shaikh Khalid also extended condolences to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, as well as Deputy Premier, HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Advisor to HRH Premier, HH Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, members of the Royal Family and the People of Bahrain over the sad demise of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest the soul of the deceased in eternal peace. HH Shaikh Khalid recalled the virtues of the deceased, the late HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, noting that he had dedicated his entire life to serving the kingdom and bringing about landmark achievements across various fields, which contributed to building the nation and enhancing its progress. He affirmed that words are not sufficient to list the late HRH Prince Khalifa’s achievements to the nation and its citizens, which, he said, are a source of pride for all Bahrainis. HH Shaikh Khalid asserted that the late HRH Prince Khalifa had served the nation during the reign of Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, May Allah the Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace, and continued his dedication during HM King Hamad’s prosperous era in order to enhance the kingdom’s progress march and to provide the requirements of decent life for all the citizens. HH Shaikh Khalid affirmed that Bahrain, the Arab and Islamic nations and the entire world have lost an inspiring leader and a national symbol whose memory will remain engraved in the minds of everyone, especially in Bahrain, thanks to his patriotic accomplishments and efforts in the service of the Arab and Islamic nations, as well as his initiatives to address global and human issues.
