HM King issues decree restructuring Ministry of Information Affairs

Manama, Dec. 1 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Royal Decree 83/2016 restructuring the Ministry of Information Affairs under the Minister of Information Affairs. The minister will be in charge of: - Director General of Bahrain News Agency (with the rank of assistant undersecretary). - Directorate of Communications and Marketing. The Undersecretary will be in charge of: - Directorate of Human and Financial Resources. - Directorate of Media. Assistant Undersecretary for Radio and Television: - Directorate of Television. - Directorate of Radio. - Directorate of Production - Directorate of News Assistant Undersecretary of Technical Affairs: - Directorate of Technicalities and Transmission - Directorate of Broadcasting and Outdoor Relay. Decree 28/2013 which restructured the Information Affairs Authority has been cancelled as well as any provision contrary to the provisions of Decree 83/2016.
