HM King issues Royal Orders 5,6 and 7/2017

Manama, Jan. 30 (BNA): HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Royal Orders 5 , 6 and 7/2017. Royal Decree 5/2017 stipulated the replacement of the text of Article One of Royal Decree 52/2009 regarding the establishment of Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies to read as follows: (An independent specialized centre shall be established under the name of "Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies" that will submit its report regularly to the Foreign Ministry. Royal Decree 6/2017 stipulated the restructuring of the board of trustees of Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies presided over by Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and the following members: Dr. Ahmed Hashim Al Yosha, Dr. Waheeb Isa Al Nasser, Ambassador Tawfiq Ahmed Al Mansour, Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulhussain Jawahery, Dr. Khalifa Ali Al Fadhel and their membership will be for four years' term. Any provision in contravention of the provisions of this Order has been cancelled. Royal Decree 7/2017 stipulated the appointment of the following members as representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Consultative Authority at the Arabian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States' Supreme Council: Dr. Shaikha Mariam bint Hassan Al Khalifa, Dr. Faisal Yaqoub Al Hamer, Dr. Abdullah Yousef Taleb, Dr. Jameela Mansour Al Sammak, Ali Ahmed Al Derazi and their membership will be for three years' term.
