HM the King performs Friday prayer; praises adherence to precautionary measures

Manama, Aug.28 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has today performed Friday prayer at the Al-Sakhir Palace mosque. A number of Highnesses and members of the Royal Family also joined HM the King to perform the Friday prayer, signallig the gradual reopening of mosques, based on the statement of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA). HM the King expressed praise to Allah Almighty for the blessing of health and wellness and the success in performing prayers in mosques. “This blessed day has brought joy and happiness to the hearts of citizens and residents by returning to prayer in the mosques of Bahrain, coinciding also with the end of the commemoration ceremony of the Ashoora”, he said, wishing the annual rituals success. HM the King thanked all competent authorities for their responsible patriotic stances which serve all people’s interest and protect their safety, health, security and stability. He praised their full compliance and adherence to instructions, preventive measures and precautionary protocols set by the National Taskforce for Combating COVID-19. “May Allah the Almighty protect our country, Muslim countries, and the whole world from the evil of epidemics, diseases and illnesses, for He is the All-Hearer and answers supplication”, said HM the King. HM the King and the other worshippers heard the Friday sermon during which the Khateeb praised Allah the Almighty for blessing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its loyal and devout people with security, safety, stability and prosperity, led by HM the King. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to protect HM the King, bless him with good health, happiness and wellness and guide him on the path of success for the Kingdom of Bahrain. He supplicated to Allah the Almighty to accept people’s good deeds, protect the Kingdom of Bahrain, Muslim countries and the whole world from epidemics and diseases, bless infected patients with recovery and lift off this pandemic very soon. “Prayers and peace be upon our Prophet, Muhammad, his family and all of his companions”, the Khateeb concluded his Friday sermon.
