HM King praised by Saudi monarch

Riyadh, Dec. 12 (BNA): The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud expressed great appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Government and people of Bahrain for the gracious welcome accorded to him and the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states and the efforts made during the 37th summit held in Manama, which had a great impact on its success. Chairing the Saudi Cabinet session at Al-Yamamah Palace, King Salman also expressed deep thanks and appreciation to the leaders of the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait for the warm reception and generous hospitality accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during his official visits to these states and for the meetings and discussions to strengthen the relations of brotherhood in all fields to serve shared interests. In his statement following the session, the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi, told the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the Cabinet commended "Al-Sakhir Declaration" of the 37th Summit of the GCC Supreme Council and its confirmation of the importance of continuing to work in implementation and application of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's vision adopted at Riyadh Summit 2015 for its integrated framework and wise approach to deal with these variables on the basis of maintaining the higher interests of the GCC member countries. The Saudi Cabinet also welcomed the final communiqué of the summit and the joint statement issued by the meeting of the leaders of the GCC with the British Prime Minister and the agreement on the launch of the strategic partnership between the GCC and the United Kingdom to promote closer ties in all fields.
