HM King ratifies, issues Law 1 /2020

Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa ratified and issued Law 1/2020 regarding Bahrain's accession to the United Nations Convention on the Use of Electronic Communications in International Contracts following its approval by Shura Council and the Council of Representatives. Article One stipulates that it was agreed that Bahrain will join the United Nations Convention on the Use of Electronic Communications in International Contracts adopted in New York on 23 November 2005. Article Two stipulates that the Prime Minister and the ministers, each within their jurisdiction, will implement the provisions of this law that will become effective from the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
