HM King ratifies, issues law 4/2020 ratifying UPU documents

Manama, Feb. 27 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ratified and issued Law 4 / 2020 ratifying the documents of the Universal Postal Union approved in the 24th conference held in 2008, the 25th conference held in 2012 and the 26th conference held in 2016. Article One stipulates that the documents of the Universal Postal Union, approved at the 24th conference held in 2008, the 25th conference held in 2012, and the 25th conference held in 2016, are approved as follows: 1. The documents of the Universal Postal Union approved at the 24th conference held in 2008: 1- Eighth Additional Protocol to the Constitution of the Universal Postal Union. 2- First Additional Protocol to the General Regulations of the Universal Postal Union. 3- Final Protocol to the Universal Postal Convention. 4- Postal Payment Services Agreement. 2. The documents of the Universal Postal Union approved at the 25th conference held in 2012: 1 - General Regulations of the Universal Postal Union, as amended. 2- Final Protocol to the Universal Postal Convention. 3- Postal Payment Services Agreement. 3. The documents of the Universal Postal Union approved at the 26th conference held in 2016: 1- Ninth Additional Protocol to the Constitution of the Universal Postal Union. 2- First Additional Protocol to the General Regulations of the Universal Postal Union. 3- Final Protocol to the Universal Postal Convention. 4- Postal Payment Services Agreement and its Final Protocol. Article Two stipulates that the Prime Minister and Ministers, each in their capacity, will implement the provisions of the law that will come into effect on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
