HM the King receives BACA president

Manama, June 26 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa has today received, at Gudaibiya Palace, Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, who presented to HM the King a collection of BACA publications. She also updated HM the King on BACA preparations to participate in the 2020 Expo Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. HM the King lauded BACA-led efforts to conserve national heritage and civilizational and cultural monuments and enriching literary and cultural life in Bahrain. He commended BACA president and personnel, wishing BACA success in its participation in the 2020 Expo Dubai. He also stressed the importance of BACA collection of publications. (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa expressed deepest thanks to HM the King, hailing continuous royal support to culture and heritage. She expressed the hope that BACA participation in the 2020 Expo Dubai would contribute to enhancing the status of the Kingdom of Bahrain to rank among pioneering countries in the field of culture and national heritage. She underlined BACA firm resolve to translate HM the King’s directives to ensure an outstanding participation in the expo and reflect Bahrain’s keen interest in culture and antiquities.
