HM King receives British Foreign Secretary

Manama, Dec. 9 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa lauded strong historic relations and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the UK. He was speaking as he received at Safriya Palace today British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson who is on a visit to Bahrain to take part in the 12th edition of Manama Dialogue. HM the King welcomed him, hailing his participation in the key forum. He also reviewed with him distinguished bilateral relations and cooperation at all levels, commending the positive outcome of the GCC-British summit which will contribute to further solidifying ties and strategic interest between the GCC countries and the UK. HM the King lauded cooperation with the UK regarding current issues, praising the role of the UK in serving regional and international security and stability.
