HM King receives Crown Prince of Kuwait

Jeddah, July 16 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Kuwaiti Amir’s Representative and Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Shaikh Mishal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of the Jeddah Security and Development Summit. HH Shaikh Mishal conveyed to HM King Hamad greetings and appreciation from Kuwaiti Amir, His Highness Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as well as his wishes for further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people, under HM the King’s leadership. HM the King welcomed the Crown Prince of Kuwait and requested him to convey his greetings to HH the Amir of Kuwait, as well as his wishes for abundant health to him, and further progress and prosperity to the brotherly Kuwaiti people. HM King Hamad expressed pride in the depth of the steadily-growing fraternal Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations, commending the major role played by HH Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance joint GCC and Arab action. HM the King and the Crown Prince of Kuwait affirmed constant keenness to increase mechanisms of joint cooperation across various fields to better serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples. They also discussed the latest regional and global developments, in addition to issues of mutual interest. The Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait expressed thanks and appreciation to HM King Hamad. He also expressed his pride in HM King Hamad’s efforts to bolster joint cooperation and strengthen the Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations.
