HM King receives Jordanian Crown Prince

Manama, Feb. 5 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriyah Palace today, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, Jordanian Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Al-Hussain bin Abdullah II who conveyed to him the greetings and respect of Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II and his best wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Bahraini people.
HM the King welcomed the Jordanian Crown Prince and asked him to convey his greetings to King Abdullah II as well as his best wishes of more progress and prosperity to the Jordanian people. He stressed deep-rooted historic fraternal ties binding both countries and their perpetual growth at all levels. He lauded the efforts of King Abdullah II to boost bilateral relations, praising the honourable stances of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan towards Bahrain. He also commended Jordan’s historical role in defending the interests of the Arab nation and supporting pan-Arab work.
HM the King hailed the role and competence of the Jordanian Arab Army and its substantial contribution since the establishment of Bahrain Defence Force. He underscored the importance of the Jordanian Crown Prince’s visit to Bahrain in bolstering bilateral relations and cooperation.
HM the King conferred the King Hamad Order of the Renaissance, First Class, on HRH Prince Al-Hussain bin Abdullah II in tribute for his tremendous efforts and contributions.
The Jordanian Crown Prince congratulated HM the King on the 51st anniversary of the establishment of Bahrain Defence Force, expressing heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the medal and the gracious welcome and hospitality. He expressed happiness about the visit and meeting HM the King, underlining appreciation of the Jordanian leadership and people of fraternal relations and cooperation between both countries.
