HM King receives letter from Azeri President

Manama, Dec. 1 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a letter from the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, pertaining to the friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries. Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, was handed over the letter by the Riyadh-resident Azeri Ambassador to Bahrain, Shahin Abdullayev, whom he received here today. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to bolster relations between the two friendly countries in order to serve common interests. They also discussed regional and global issues of mutual interest.
