HM King receives letter from Egyptian President

Manama, Oct. 1 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a letter from Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi including an invitation to attend the second edition of the World Youth Forum which will be hosted by Egypt, in Sharm El-Sheikh, in November. The letter was handed over to HM the King by Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Suha Mohammed Ibrahim Refaat during a meeting at Safriya Palace today. HM King Hamad expressed thanks and respect for the invitation, lauding outstanding fraternal relations between Bahrain and Egypt and growing cooperation between both countries. He also praised the civilisational and historical role of Egypt and its pioneering contribution to enriching human civilisation by promoting peace and dialogue between different peoples and cultures. HM the King underscored the vital role of the youth in building civilisations and achieving the sustainable development goals, stressing the need to groom them and equip them with knowledge in order to help them fulfill their missions appropriately. He also wished the World Youth Forum every success in achieving set up goals and achieving the youth's aspirations.
