HM King receives letter of thanks from HRH Premier

Manama, July 2 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a letter of thanks and appreciation from His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for praising him while delivering a keynote address at the meeting of the Supreme Defence Council, presided over by HM the King. HRH Premier extended deepest thanks and appreciation to HM the King, praying to Allah the Almighty to bless him with abundant health, happiness and long life so as to continue the progress march for the kingdom and its loyal people. HRH the Prime Minister expressed pride in HM King Hamad’s keynote speech, which, he said, was full of sound visions on ways to enhance the comprehensive development march, highlighting the success of the sound policies adopted by HM the King to lead the kingdom’s efforts to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and mitigate its impacts. The Prime Minister lauded HM the King’s appreciation of his initiative to honour Bahraini doctors, and celebrate their sacrifices, through the Cabinet’s resolution to mark a Bahraini Doctor’s Day in appreciation of the medical personnel’s dedication in serving the health sector and protecting the health and safety of the citizens and residents. The royal appreciation of the designation of the Bahraini Doctor’s Day embodies HM the King’s unlimited support for loyal Bahrainis across all sectors, the Premier said, noting that Bahrain has become a role model for fighting the pandemic in the health, economic and social fields. HRH Premier expressed confidence in the ability of the kingdom, under HM the King’s leadership and thanks to the cohesion of the loyal Bahraini people, to defeat all challenges, stressing the government’s determination to achieve the royal aspirations for more progress and prosperity for the kingdom and its people.
