HM the King receives letter from Ugandan president

Manama, Nov. 22 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a letter from President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda pertaining to relations between the two friendly countries, and ways to bolster them. Foreign Affairs Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received the letter addressed to HM the King while meeting the Riyadh-based Ugandan Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Rashid Yahya Ssemuddu. Shaikh Khalid welcomed the ambassador, and lauded progress achieved in the cooperation and coordination between the two countries. The minister said that he is looking forward to taking advantage of the available opportunities to open new cooperation areas for the best interests of the two countries. He also commended the good efforts exerted by the envoy to boost bilateral relations. Dr. Rashid Yahya Ssemuddu expressed pride in meeting the Foreign Minister, and thanked him for his support to him. He stressed his country's keenness on consolidating its relations with the Kingdom, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
