HM King receives new Ambassador to Saudi Arabia

Manama, Dec. 28 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today at Al Sakhir Palace Ambassador Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa on the occasion of the issuance of the royal decree appointing him as Head of Bahrain’s diplomatic mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. Ambassador Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa took his oath before HM the King. HM the King congratulated Ambassador Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa and hailed his competence in assuming this national responsibility, wishing him success in fulfilling his new diplomatic duties. HM the King entrusted the ambassador to convey his greetings to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, wishing the brotherly Saudi people further progress and prosperity. HM the King hailed deep-rooted historical and fraternal relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing mutual keenness on further bolstering joint ties towards achieving the interests and aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
