HM King receives outgoing GCC Secretary General

Manama, Jan. 8 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received outgoing Gulf Cooperation COuncil (GCC) Secretary General Dr. Nayef Al Hajraf. HM the King expressed his thanks to Al Hajraf for his efforts during his term and praised his endeavors and ability to develop work of the General Secretariat and to enhance the process of Gulf joint efforts to achieve the aspirations of the GCC states and its peoples for greater stability, integration and prosperity, and to continue its role in consolidating regional and global peace, security and stability. HM the King praised the GCC on its achievements in all its fields and wished Dr. Al Hajraf success. The outgoing GCC Secretary General expressed his thanks to HM the King on his continuous support to the GCC and highlighted Bahrain’s active role and efforts to promote cooperation.
