HM King receives UAE State Minister

Manama, Feb. 6 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace today the UAE Minister of State for Future Food Security Meriam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Al Meheiri who conveyed to him the greetings and best wishes of the UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. HM the King welcomed the UAE State Minister, lauding deep-rooted fraternal relations between both countries and their perpetual growth in light of common keenness to further boost them. He praised strong bilateral cooperation, stressing the need to avail of the successful experiences of both countries in the field of food security which is considered as a main requirement of sustainable development. HM the King affirmed the great importance accorded by the Kingdom of Bahrain to national food security which is given top priority in light of the unwavering keenness to promote innovation and modern technology in agricultural development. He commended the UAE’s pioneering civilisational and development march and its pivotal accomplishments in achieving food security at the national, regional and international level. The UAE State Minister expressed sincerest thanks and gratitude to HM the King for the gracious welcome and hospitality, stressing keenness on bolstering bilateral cooperation and strategic partnership in the field of food security.
