HM King receives Vicar Apostolic of Southern Arabia

Manama, Oct. 6 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace today Bishop Paul Hinder, the Vicar Apostolic in the Apostolic Vicariate of Southern Arabia, on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. HM the King welcomed Bishop Paul Hinder, commending his humanitarian efforts to promote goodness and tolerance. He took pride in religious tolerance prevailing in Bahrain thanks to awareness of its people who have always embraced the spirit of coexistence and acceptance of the other. HM lauded the kingdom’s ongoing efforts and noble initiatives to foster inter-religious and cultural dialogue, praising the key role of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence in this respect. HM the King discussed with Bishop Paul Hinder a number of issues aimed at fostering the culture of dialogue, tolerance and moderation.
