HM King receives VIP F1 guests

Manama, Mar. 31 (BNA): HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today at the Safriya Palace received Sir Michael Kadoorie and his spouse Lady Kadoorie, Lord Snowdon, André Desmarais and spouse France Desmarais and Prince Agstow Rofo, on the sidelines of their visit to Bahrain to attend the 2019 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, SCYS First Deputy Chairman, President of Bahrain Athletics Association, were also present. HM the King welcomed their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, praising relations and cooperation between Bahrain and their countries in various fields. HM the King exchanged talks about the F1 races and the role of such international sport events in boosting communication and convergence among nations. He wished them good stay in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Bahrain’s guests expressed appreciation of the royal welcome and generous hospitality. They praised the progress seen in various fields, wishing Bahrain and its people further development and well-being.
