HM King thanked by BCCI Chairman

Manama, June 12 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of thanks and respect from Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Sameer Abdullah Nass. The BCCI Chairman extended to HM the King, on behalf of the Board of Directors and the business community in Bahrain, sincerest thanks and respect for the royal efforts and initiatives to press ahead with the development and modernization process. He praised the national royal project in boosting the kingdom’s pioneering democratic experience which won respect and appreciation of the Bahraini people and the whole world. The BCCI Board Chairman extended utmost thanks to HM the King for ratifying law 16/2020 amending certain provisions of Decree-law 48/2012 concerning BCCI after being approved by the Shura and Representatives Councils. He said the amendments will further regulate the work of BCCI, which is considered the first commercial chamber in the region, to achieve the aspirations of the business community and enhance development of the private sector. The BCCI Chairman expressed his best wishes to the Kingdom of Bahrain of more growth and prosperity, reiterating the chamber’s support to the royal efforts to bolster the development and economic movement. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to protect HM the King, wishing him every success in serving Bahrain and its people.
