HM King thanked by Labour Minister

Manama, Apr. 30(BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received a letter of thanks from Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan. On behalf of labour trade unions and workers, the minister extended deepest thanks to HM the King on the International Workers’ Day, which falls on the 1st of May. He hailed royal keenness on patronizing the labour day in the Kingdom of Bahrain over the past days, to celebrate the values of production and honour outstanding workers in different sectors. He paid tribute to HM the King for defending workers’s rights and promoting their gains, lauding royal keenness on ensuring the payment of workers’ salaries and maintaining their professional stability as the world grapples with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). He commended the royal directives to undertake economic measures and launch the stimulus package which contributes to maintaining labour market stability, which was a source of relief to all economic and trading sectors as well as the workforce. He pledged that all production tiers would exerted more efforts and cooperation to the support the stability of the labour market, preserve its capability to create decent jobs and promote development projects, for Bahrain to remain an oasis of safety and stability. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HM the King with health and wellbeing to continue leading the march of development and progress.
